  • Applied AI Engineer

    OZP Studios is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain AI-powered features across client work and our own products. You will work with engineering, product, and design to ship reliable model-backed functionality in production.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement LLM-based features in production applications.
    • Build and maintain data pipelines, retrieval systems, and evaluation workflows.
    • Collaborate with product and design on scoping, technical approach, and delivery.
    • Monitor model performance, reliability, and failure cases after launch.
    • Document technical decisions and support handover to client teams.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
    • Experience shipping machine learning or LLM features to production.
    • Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
    • Familiarity with APIs, cloud infrastructure, and version control (Git).
    • Ability to work with designers and product managers in a small studio environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Nice to have

    • Experience with RAG, embeddings, or model evaluation frameworks.
    • Background in full-stack web development (React, Next.js).
    • Experience working at an agency or across multiple client codebases.

  • QA Engineer

    OZP Studios is hiring a QA Engineer to plan, execute, and automate testing across client and internal products. You will work with engineering and product to catch issues before launch and keep quality consistent after handover.

    Responsibilities

    • Write and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web applications and APIs.
    • Perform manual and automated testing across features, integrations, and release candidates.
    • Build and maintain automated tests (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
    • Log, reproduce, and track bugs; verify fixes before release.
    • Partner with engineering on CI checks, staging sign-off, and release criteria.
    • Document test coverage and known issues for client handover.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of QA or quality engineering experience on web products.
    • Experience with test planning, bug tracking, and regression testing.
    • Familiarity with at least one browser automation tool (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
    • Comfort testing APIs (Postman, REST clients, or equivalent).
    • Ability to work with engineers and project managers in a small studio environment.
    • Clear written communication for bug reports and release notes.

    Nice to have

    • Experience writing tests in TypeScript or JavaScript.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar).
    • Experience testing authenticated apps, role-based access, or internal tools.
    • Background in an agency or consulting environment.
